JDRPARIS was born 15 years ago from a common desire of our small community of model maker, graphic designer and designer to transcribe certain codes specific to artisanal technical automotive model making as it was practiced by a few enlightened minds in the 50s and 60s.
Our creations are inhabited by this alliance between the refined model and the object with a technical and functional vocation.
No great detail in our cars but work on the evocation of shapes, on the stylistic characteristics specific to each model, sometimes deliberately accentuating the line a little.
Our approach is also informed by the charm of the first post-war mass market plastic kits, particularly those of the Merit and Strombecker brands, to name but a few.
